Latest bid showed Airbus upgrade as a 9/14 hire. Just depends on growth but normally the 80 VBD is the quickest due to the movement out of that position.

It is an option to bid and it goes junior for obvious reasons. There was a whole class of 10 recently that all got it except 1 person.

These are basic questions that have probably been answered many times. I have looked back 10-15 pages but haven't seen it.

Questions: with Allegiant, how many days per week are you "typically" flying considering no layovers? Are they typically 2 or 4 sectors per day if you fly out of Florida (PIE, SFB or FLL)? Lastly, if you live in Florida, what percentage of your trips are non-scheduled trips?

Wow, I hadn't realized how low your guys pay was till I just clicked on that sight. Guys, even with your new proposed rates at my seniority. 5yr VX I'm almost $40k up and I thought I was severely underpaid. Your management has a long way to go before they get to pay levels you deserve.

Best of luck going fwd.

If you are a FO that's not completely true. The proposed band 3 pay rates are competitive but being a band system is a non starter. If you are a captain, yes it's terrible, even with the proposed rates our pay scale is no where it needs to be.

However, the most recent date of hire for a SFB Airbus Captain who wasn't sent TDY to PGD this month is 8/30/2007. Somewhere around 130 in seniority.
Pretty much every recent Airbus Captain upgrade involved a move.
Quick upgrade and "home every night" don't necessarily go together.
