This is some solid advice for staying off reserve and pegging that QOL meter to the good side. If TA passes, new pay scales will be a big plus for those who want to stick it out in the right seat for a better QOL.

Does your family get travel benefits on allegiant flights? Can they buy zed fares on other airlines? Thanks

Yes. Your parents and a travel companion(if you do not have a spouse). Tons of ZED carriers, details vary with each but it's generally 6 months after employment that you're eligible to purchase and almost all will allow your parents, I'd say 40% allow the "travel companion"
