I agree 100%. The way it is written is good. Also, the fact it cannot change on a whim is a plus too...

Well, Allegiant must not be hurting too bad for Pilot Apps. I filled one out a few days back and just got a TBNT email from them. My Resume shows 7200 hrs, 4000 Multi Jet PIC (part 135), 3 types, Company FAA 135 Check Airman, 10 years at the same part 135, and an MBA. Oh yeah, a Vet too...not sure what they are looking for but apparently I'm not it..

Well, that's a fair question (by the way, I was not a Pilot in the Navy, so all my time is civilian). Quite honestly, I like the home basing scenario and the possibility of a shorter upgrade. I'm late 40's so it really helps me to maximize my pay before retirement (if all goes well with your contract).

Which is interesting because if they took the time to actually interview me they would learn that it is not my intention to go anywhere due to my age and that I am interested in them for home basing skd and shorter upgrade.

"With respect to each employee who elects to make employee elective deferral contributions, the Company will pay a matching contribution into the Pilot’s 401(k) account on a two hundred percent (200%) basis up to the first five percent (5%) of such employee’s pay."
I would feel more comfortable if the last word of this section was contribution and not pay.

Also in the past people got the TBNT email and a couple days later got a call.
