Looking at the QOL items, single days off erks me. However, looking at some of the other items, a cap of 95 able to go over if you want, 12 days off, what looks like quite a bit more vacation, 6 days must not be single, I think it will be quite a bit better overall. They will definitely have to hire more pilots and my schedule always gets better when more pilots are in base.
Where I come from SCOPE is HUGE and it looks like we got "excellent" scope.
Our rates/retirement look to have landed in a good spot and will dramatically improve my financial outlook. It is pie in the sky to expect what XYZ may or may not get.
I wait with anticipation for the TA to be distributed.
FOR NOW I AM A YES VOTE

+1 on Scope
No more "at will"
We participate in profit sharing
If you call in sick it doesn't impact your vacation balance
Pay & 401k match are underwhelming.
For me it comes down to if SW or CB or somewone else who's been doing this for 2 years tells me they think it's a good deal and close to as good as they think it gets.

There is apparently a text message going around with more info.
Some good stuff. Separate sick / vacation. Sick accrues 4 hours a month and vacation is based on longevity from 2 weeks to 4 weeks. Vacation pays 20 credit hours per week. Overnight rig minimum and a 2/1 duty rig.
Obviously there's a lot more to go over and I'm excited for the road shows.

Unfortunately I agree. It's nearly impossible to get released and I don't like the one sided environment but it's a reality in this industry. RAH just got a nice contract last yeah but it cost each pilot well over six figures of opportunity cost from turning down several TA's over close to 9 years of negotiating/working on an expired contract. With virtually no ability to get released, retro-pay after contract expiration should be in every new TA these days. DAL has the ability to strike written in their contract if a new TA isn't reached shortly after the last one ends.

You've got to be kidding me! This TA is a joke. 50% deadhead and only 4 hrs sick time per month. My former crap regional paid 100% deadhead and 5 hrs a month sick time. I figured our pay rates wouldn't be legacy rates, but I figured we could do better than JetBlue rates. The "first contract" crap argument won't fly. JetBlue doesn't have a contract now, and their present rates beat our TA.
Retirement match is below standard, too many single days off are permitted, min gaurantee is too low and no premium pay for picking up open time. I don't need to see any more. This is a big fat "NO" vote for me.

As for deadhead and sick, it is much better than I have been getting and in range for me.
