Yeah, they have been sending CPs out on the road to do one on ones to fill classes versuses the traditional pull an app, phone interview, in person interview. I'm not sure exactly where it's listed they are going to be next but doing a search for airline job fairs may get you started.

I have specific questions about the PIE base.
1) When was the most junior CA hired?
2) Can I expect to be awarded the base out of training?
3) Is there any amount of attrition at the base?
4) Are you seeing expansion at the base?
The main reason I ask is to see if the junior nature of the base was due to the initial opening of the base. I suspect that I missed the boat so to speak and the base is becoming more senior because it has been established for a few years now.
Thanks in advance!

3) Attrition comes and goes, but not really much in PIE

Yes, it is possible to get it out of training. Seems to go senior on the bus but not so senior on the 80.
As the other bases expand (CVG/PIT) people leave for those so there is some movement.
According to a management source PIE is expected to see large growth in the near future.

Been at Allegiant for about a year. I've never been TDY'd or had a scheduled overnight. Hotels for training are top notch. Mini kitchens and some hotels even have free breakfast, dinner and beer. First year pay sucks. It's not as bad here as some keyboard warriors make it out to be. It's way better in many ways than my old regional. It's worse in a few ways too. Overall big quality of life improvement for me in the long run.
That is just my two cents.

Of course, some things could be managed much better, but so far so good. Much better than regional life.

So, technically, the answer is no.
However, I had no issues. The company set everything up and I had no issues on any month.

I agree 100% with this statement. I've been TDY a couple of times and have no complaints other than the per diem being $1/hr. Hotels (w/ mini kitchen and/or fridge), Flights to/from base, and car rentals were all taken care of.
Of course, some things could be managed much better, but so far so good. Much better than regional life.

Also, MOST of our hotels are NOT suites. The only ones I've been to that have this are FLL, BLI, and LAS. The rest were regular hotel rooms.
I'm not going to get into a spat with anyone but if you've never been TDY'd you don't really know this company. Don't get me wrong I don't wish the TDY on anyone that doesn't want it. But living in base on the AB and not being TDY'd (like I suspect some of the pro-G4 guys on here are) is like working for a totally different company than having been TDY'd all over the country on the MD-80.

Don't count on that 100%. I've had everything done lickety-split before and I've also had just the opposite happen. When I used to be in the VBD base I had to fight tooth and nail to get them to buy me my monthly ticket home. One time they did it on the wrong day and then refused to change it because it was too expensive (it was they're fault, not mine). Another time they refused to do it at all (long story).
