Bear in mind that MG just cashed in $47,700,000.

No reason to get up in arms about other employees getting roughly $500 or so while we pilots are currently underpaid by much more each paycheck.

I'm curious, what do Allegiant pilots expect out of their first contract other than "a fair contract that recognizes the pilots contributions...... yada yada and all that other BS".

As far as pay, are the pilots demanding Legacy pay or pay inline with Jetblue? or maybe just pay inline with spirit and frontier?

I'm curious what will make the group happy. I figure there is a pecking order in the industry and am curious where you see yourselves.

Legacy pay will probably keep going up. Maybe nowhere near as much as it has in the last few years, but I think it will go up. My opinion is that Allegiant pilots aren't asking for enough. Industry pay rates at the moment are a moving target. We seem to have many of our guys gunning for where the target was "yesterday" so to speak. We operate the same equipment as the legacies. I see no reason not to expect the same compensation.

I'm willing to bet that when we finally get a contract, probably in 2 to 3 years, that it will be highly disappointing. I've given up on Allegiant management, MX and the hopes and willingness of our pilot group to secure the kind of compensation we deserve. I no longer have any hopes of making Allegiant a career airline.

Yeah.........your rates may be higher but there is ZERO chance your W2 is higher than A comparable Spirit guy.

Yes we both suck but Spirit absolutely pays higher

First class is a troll. Same job same pay across the industry should be the goal. Period!

There are no tiers and no pecking order. Universal compensation

MGT knows it's about the bottom line. It's been their MO since the beginning: Impress the impressionable with big pay rates then short them with the bottom line. Worked in the past, heh, why not? (We're different).

Last raise we got was in '09 and everyone was totally stoked! until they saw their w-2s. Hours slashed through mission mode (small print) and short, worthless trips.

MGT Didn't want to discuss work rules. Never did, still don't ("clogs the arteries"). MGT knows work rules = $$.

All this talk of wanting a deal and progress. Next week will be revealing.

Exactly, work rules are far more important to QOL and the size of your paycheck than just an hourly rate

I know you're trolling probably because you want to justify your decision to stay at PSA vs going to a LCC. To answer your question, I think AA/UA/DAL rates would be ideal but something very similar to Alaska rates/work rules/retirement will get voted in.

Let's not negotiate in public, I don't think most would settle for alaska's contract at this point anyhow. We've put up with too much and the company is too profitable.
