Maury needs to retire ASAP. We need new management that wants to run a real airline. The company needs to suck it up and buy new (zero hours) airplanes. I hope I get a call from a legacy before Maury runs us into the ground.

Was this the pockmarked aircraft from EasyJet that was put into service just a few weeks ago?

at least now we won't have to hear management say that the answer to our mx problems is to get more airbus'....I want to punch someone every time I hear it.

The part I love from EG's email is how benign he made it sound...the crew received an ECAM message, as opposed to the crew encountered a catastrophic engine failure while attempting to go around.

We seem to think a new airplane will solve all of our reliability issues. As was the case with both the 757 and the bus. We can't figure out that the missing link is maintenance.

There's a reason why other airlines get rid of these anes to Allegiant

According to the email it was just an ECAM....nothing to see here.

And you are dead wrong. The number 2 engine seized on power up for the Go-Around. Nice little pile of molten titanium bits lays on the bottom of the exhaust cowl. Gust is conveniently leaving that nice little detail out.

Imagine that, at TOGA, 50’ and it literally shredded.
