Spirit beat us to the bottom? What's up with that?
MG is working over time to catch up. Don't worry, we'll win next time.

FAA confirms it is reviewing Allegiant Air operations | Tampa Bay Times

"The Federal Aviation Administration confirmed Wednesday that it is conducting a detailed, 90-day inspection of Allegiant Air's operations in response to "various internal issues" tied to maintenance and safety.

Such a comprehensive review is normally conducted at all airlines every five years. But the FAA said it moved up its review of Allegiant by nearly two years to ensure the airline has remedied problems in operations.

The review began about April 1 and continues through June.

The FAA provided little detail about the reasons for the review, but said the issues were related to two flights last summer. One involved a near-crash of an aircraft in Las Vegas that suffered a jammed elevator on its tail during a takeoff that was aborted. The second involved an emergency landing in Fargo, N.D., due to low fuel at an airport that was partly closed."

Care to tell me more about I'm in "denial" and "uneducated" about this, Badwxdude?

Normally I'd just let something like this go, but your response was so snarky and arrogant I thought perhaps I'd ask.

Stick with the facts.... Just the facts.
Regular.....if you consider 2 years early regular. Wake up. The FACT is that half of the reasons for doing an audit are happening at Allegiant.

I doubt you'd normally let something like this go but whatever. I'm glad you feel better. I wouldn't be the first person here to repeat what they've been told and be wrong.

It's not that you were wrong, its that you were (and continue to be) an ass about it, despite having no reason to be...I certainly didn't do anything to you. I realized that there are some pretty poor examples on this thread, but It's not very hard to be civil to others....even when you disagree.

You should try it.

“there is work to do and we want to get it done and the pilots do, too. We take them at their word and the flight attendants, too.”

Translation: we take them at their word that they want a contract and therefor will cave to our demands. We're different and labor needs to understand that.

I'm hoping Fances' first language is not English. Reading that article was like reading a story my 5 year old wrote. When did Allegiant hire "Jude Brickner?"

Is that article for real? That's what's really happening to Allegiant? An airline based in the USA? It's like reading about some operation in Zimbabwe. Embarrassing.
