Yes, because I've never seen anything incorrect in a news article about an aviation matter.

Regardless, it doesn't seem that simple, does it? There is more than one reason listed under the "need" header that could easily apply to Allegiant at this time....in fact, one could say about half of them.

The FAA is a very reactive organization; particularly when it comes to media reports. I don't think that the timing of this audit is a coincidence and I believe that anyone who thinks so is in denial.

He has no intentions of retiring anytime soon, and his hand-picked close knit group of friends comprising his board of directors have no intention of firing him either.

This is among the biggest reasons the former president resigned. He knew MG would never step down and would not be forced either.

Regardless of false indications to the contrary, MG has no intentions of working with organized labor, and so long as he sits on the throne, he will continue to pay his F& H lawyers a princely sum to play the national mediation Board like a fiddle. He will skillfully drag this out for years

I'm sure nature will simply take its course with Allegiant.

I'm not in denial. You may be. If you have information and evidence of wrong doing by Allegiant you should use the FAA whistleblower hotline and report it ASAP.

Evidence of wrongdoing??

Report it to the FAA?? Seriously?? After all that G4 has gotten away with under the watch of the FAA.

Yeah. Whistleblower. That'll work. I can't stop laughing.

Have you considered your suggestion may be the very reason for the audit? I have no idea if this is true but it would explain a lot.

Didn't the last one result in the training department being shut down for almost six months? Wonder what will happen this time....
It's amazing that the people most active in this thread are the ones that have left...

We are getting our inspection at a regular interval.

With all due respect Tyler, how on earth do you have ANY clue what the biggest reasons were that caused AL to leave? Maybe he didn't even leave of his own choice... You want everyone to think you're in the know around here, but clearly you're not.

Stick with the facts.... Just the facts.

You know this how? Who's making baseless claims now?

If you're asking because you actually want to know (Not sure you do) then I'll be happy to answer.

It's no secret, (actually a FACT) that A.L.'s sudden departure occurred on the heels of a very vocal and heated exchange between himself and MG. It was behind glass but witnessed and overheard by several corporate employees (fact: people talk). I personally spoke to one of them that day.

He didn't die, he quit and is still in contact with associates who still work here (he's trying to recruit at least one of them). They talk too.

Hope this helps.

Word of mouth is not necessarily the best way to get information. On numerous accounts I've personally witnessed one thing being said and a COMPLETELY different message being passed on. Ever heard of the game telephone? Suprisingly it doesn't need to be passed around between 30 people before it becomes a different story. Rumors especially about things like this, or anything in aviation for that matter, I tend not to believe unless I hear it directly from the source. And even then I may be a skeptic.

It's hard to believe anything these days until it becomes a hard fact and is backed by legitimate and tangible things. Floating words are just rumors.
