Does anyone have insights into the number and/or schedule for training classes?

At least 1 class each month, somewhere between 20-40 per class.. From now to eternity.

Used to be you could but you had to get the approval of everybody on the seniority list between you and the guy you want to trade with. Try that for a start.

Or until the economy rolls over.

Or another 9/11 happens.

Or....?

You never know when the music will stop in the airline business.

Not so the case for AAY. AAY profited(I believe the only US registered airline) after 9/11 due to it's business model. Ex-CFO/President A.L. actually said in my indoc a few years back, while explaining our business model, that while he doesn't wish for another 9/11, AAY benefits when the industry faces times like those.

The customers come to us, people still want to vacation even during recession. Those who used to fly united or delta will roll the dice and buy a $59 ticket to Punta Gorda instead of Grand Cayman.

Also a good reason why we should be very well paid and never, ever accept a concessionary contract or settle for our lousy banded pay system.

Yes, G4 and SWA were the only airlines to turn a profit throughout the last recession.

Yes. It's written in the fine print on the page with all of the available time slots.
