What a freaking joke. So our profit sharing is paid in our pay bands. The problem with that versus everyone else is our lowest pay band may mean the company is still making a profit, which means all employees still make more than their normal rate. Based on this logic our normal rate is band one, which means we still should get some profit sharing, even in band one.

This is why pay bands are a non-starter with any contract.

If you're considering coming here be very prepared for what you're getting yourself into.

What pay band is he talking of? I guess I am just having a hard time understanding his logic.

This was obviously a calculated move. Newbies... If you didn't already see it, now you do. We must all stand together as ONE.

Pay bands? What is band 1 pay? For a one year trailing profit margin of up to 7.99% the rates are these:

CA

Year 1: $118
2: $121
3: $123
4: $124
5: $125
6: $126
7: $128
8: $130
9: $133
10:$135
11:$138
12:$140

FO
Year 1: $41
2: $60
3: $68
4: $72
5: $78
6: $82
7: $82
8: $82
9: $82
10:$82
11:$82
12:$82

We are currently on band 4 rates. Fuel is cheap. I would assume fuel will stay cheap for the next 10-12 years and the music will never stop.

The music always stops. Remember 9/11? Don't forget the market is getting ready for a serious Bear Market. Remember 2008?

The music always stops.

Since it's based on company profit percentage, it is also subject to manipulation.

Your bonus is built in to the pay rates above band 1, at least according to management.

Ridiculous how the company sends out these emails to tease us. And they think this won't unite us more? Not sure their logic there
