I'm pretty sure I'm too sick to fly on the 13th...... that's the weekend before St Patty's day you know!!!

Hi Papirry, yeah I've seen you posting on here a few times about your somewhat rocky road getting noticed from the higher ups. I think most will agree that the staff at allegiant, in most cases, have more on their plate then they can handle... delays in communication, or outright lack-thereof, aren't uncommon. Three suggestions...

1. Send an email off to anyone in the company that's had email communication with you, or any email addresses you might know. Maybe someone will throw you a bone and tell you what's going on. Phone calls could help too

2. If you're able... attend another meet and greet or job fair and talk with the allegiant guys again. That will at least show motivation on your part.

3. I know you mentioned that you're foreign but have the right to work in the US... watch your grammar on your emails and other communications to Allegiant; double check and have others proof read to make sure you have the minutiae of English grammar correct. It doesn't really matter on the forums, but you don't want management figures second guessing your english skills, it can make for a very frustrating cockpit.

If you have no luck in any of this, maybe this time around just wasn't your lucky day. Try re-applying in 6 months to a year and hit up another meet and greet then. I have met 2 or 3 guys that had to reapply multiple times throughout a few year process to finally land here. Sometimes there's no rhyme or reason as to why one guy gets it and another doesn't (hell, they may have just lost your resume! wouldn't be the first airline to do that!).

Keep at it!

IWA/LAS-BIS
40 min ground time
BIS-IWA/LAS
Go to your home.

Just 20 days a month. You can replace the bases with any base and replace the out station with any station and that is the life I have lived.

Average about 85 hours a month as an AB FO.

Never been on reserve. I will say I'm FL but if you get 80 LAS there is always movement there. IWA is more senior and stagnant so you may be on reserve. Someone else will have to chime in on average hours.

Mostly is now. Wasn't a few years back. Many were in RSV he!! for 2 or more years. For those coming here now and able to avoid much/any RSV, you should consider yourselves extremely lucky.
