What's a typical schedule like at G4 depending upon which base and equipment you're assigned to? Recently, a buddy of mine told me that upgrade is down to as little as 6 months on the 80, is there any merit to this? I am making great money where I'm at. However, I am required to be on call 24/7 365 within 2 hours of the airport at all times. I was just recently granted full custody of my son which will require a move back to CA.

Eh, nobody has mentioned the history of a certain key executive under your roof. I'd expect anything to limit the departure of pilots is welcomed by your employer. Stemming the flow to one of the big three at least narrows the flood gates. Not saying it's so, but consider the possibility that any perceived closed doors might swing from hinges in 702, not 404.

Question for current Allegiant guys, what work rules do you have in place for a home base airport rest period? Is it still 10 hours between duty out to duty in or do you have longer for guys that don't live right next to the airport? Thanks.

This is important to remember and reference per our manuals.
Often scheduling will call and leave a voicemail and say you have 90 minutes from the voicemail to get to the plane. That is incorrect.
Reference GOM 11-1-3-5 section K paragraph 1.
10 hours rest required. Minimum of 11 scheduled.
