Well see, with your reasoning about outsourcing, you don't have the "big picture." ...cough, cough(mgt response) As for your other questions(me personally)
-11-19 days off. 17 for November, 75 hours
-with the increase in hiring, I doubt max hours except for maybe junior CAs.. Just a guess
-2 legs, probably 10% = 4 legs but I don't bid them; work too hard running the QRH for 4 legs.. just kidding, sometimes.

I am a junior line holder and for next month I got a line worth 70 hours. They filled in reserve assignments between trips until they reduced me to the minimum of 11 days off. I have a three day stretch, otherwise single days off. The worst though is I have morning flights until my last day then I have a late flight that gets in around 11pm. Then a 0600 show two days later, just to make a commute impossible.
There are guys like BlueHenFR8 that get 17 days off, that get the days they want, and get the trips they want. I don't know how. Maybe real senior. Maybe they found the secret to Merlot. That is the worst part, you get a horrible line of scraps where they put reserve in to make you min days off, then tell you that it is your fault for not understanding Merlot.

I think I do have the secret to Merlot.
Never bid days off.
Bid all trips only. I can't stress this enough. After they award you those trips you are up to the required amount of flying for the month. Choose trips on days you want to work and make the days off the last choices.
You have to realize that what days you want off doesn't matter at all to the person reading your excel spreadsheet and selecting your trips. However, if you put in all flying trips instead they must choose those first.
I won't say my schedules have been perfect since I tried this but I will say they have gotten much better.

Unless I'm reading the matrix wrong, they are allowing ZERO vacations for Thanksgiving and XMas in 2015. Fa la la la la, la la la la.

Just a rough ballpark it doesn't look like there are enough vacation weeks in my base and fleet for everyone to get their full allotted vacation time. Guess they are figuring some people would rather sell it back than take vacation.

You guys have been great explaining the typical schedules to expect at G4, I know that question has been asked a lot. However, just wondering if it's still true that it's all day trips (or at least what percentage and seniority) And are the new Airbus still coming on property as expected? Thanks.

on allegiant's career website, are we only allowed to submit an application three times?
I updated and submitted my app yesterday and on the "view submitted apps" tab, it doesn't show yesterdays date...
just wondering. did i ruin my chances with aay?
