Oh boy. Every airline pilot would live the life of an Allegiant pilot, if everyone had that mentality.

I’m guessing the sarcasm switch was in the on position. I think he’s repeating some famous quotes from a particular vegas captain. Who is the resident self-appointed g4 management spin-doctor.

Haha, I was thinking the same. That was definitely sarcasm. Its a phrase we hear a lot around here. That and, "we apologize..." and, "thank you for your patience" and, "hope you are having a productive day!" before an arrogant, condescending email.

Finally, anyone asking about the schedules AGAIN, for the hundredth time, THEY SUCK and are NOT COMMUTABLE.

For those new to our miserable train wreck, yes, it was tongue-in-cheek. Humor is all we have left and even that is running in short supply.

Hope you're having a productive day...

Okay so just so I completely understand... Living out of base is not an option... BUT.... Do you guys get AT LEAST, get one block of days off a month to travel out of state (say to see family)... Or are the schedules that locked up that you might as well write off anyone who doesn't come with you...

For all intentional purposes, the latter. Unless you consider 2 days off together a block.

Generally, the only block of days you might get off are Tuesday and Wednesday, but the only thing you are guaranteed to get off are single days.

This is accurate. They also just canceled an upgrade class all the while using "sub-services" to make up difference.
