Something else to ponder, guys are now getting their orals immediately after systems...my class not only had 2 weeks of systems but had all of sims to study for an oral that WASN'T FOR A TYPE RATING.

And the oversight was nil. Our poi was AWOL. When I was in the sim, I got use to hearing, “Oh we don’t need those visuals, I’ll give you vectrors”. Sigh, those were the days.

You can not get a sic type at a 121 carrier anymore. It is a pic type after systems integration which is after the cpt's. No one from any sept class has had orals or rides.

just checked the hiring mins for allegiant. seems like it has been dropped to 1500tt now.

Just in time for the pilot fair in SF. Management knows they won’t be able to snag any of the ticket holders. We’re regional light. Big airplane, bigger resume for the day they hold the ticket.

Xbone, what are you saying here? (I'm really not up to speed on the jargon) are you saying that Allegiant won't attract pilots already typed in the a/c they fly?

Just curious, I don't have much interest in them for now but I do have the dc9 type at a place that's not the greatest either.
