Including or excluding home study? I just did a MD-80 program at another airline with one week of home study CBT and 3 days of systems school.

You do realize that it's a fact that they use an Excel spreadsheet to make our schedules?? It's not a computer system, like they advertise?

Not trying to jump down your throat, but your statement about 'knowing how to bid' stood out to me...

They told the court that it was a function of the Merlot program that constructed the schedules. Therefore, manipulation was not possible prior to Merlot’s guidance. We wouldn’t lie to you…

It's true. Your schedule is not determined by Merlot, it's determined by one person using Excel, and the "needs of the company."

I am familiar with "Isaac Excel". I am aware that Mr. Excel has the ability to manipulate the schedules after merlot runs through the bids. In my case..... the schedules are exactly the way I bid. I have not been a victim of Mr. Excel yet. I know there are numerous pilots that get their schedules manipulated but there are also a good amount of pilots who get a messed up schedule because they don't know how to operate merlot. That is all I was trying to say by that.

You are, somewhat, misinformed. Merlot does nothing with the schedule. Your preferences are saved in a form Excel can read, and then exported to Excel. Your schedule is built in Excel, and then loaded back in to Merlot.

At no time does Merlot do anything with your schedule, other than (supposedly) check it for legality.

So to recap...

Management told the judge during our injunction that the airline would shut down if we got rid of PBS... then tried to get a stop to our injunction after we won... and finally were forced to show us behind the curtain where they simply export our preferences to an Excel file... thereby committing perjury.

Did I miss anything?
