Default Allegiant Air

We still have a Chief Pilot??? We haven't even received an email from him in over 6 months. Does he ever show his face around the Airport in LAS?

All joking aside, I remember a pledge from our fearless leader GB that we would be receiving enhanced communications and operations updates in the future. That was 3 months ago and we haven't heard a peep. The operations and pilot group is experiencing utter chaos and between MG and GB there has been zero leadership and guidance on how the company plans to fix the problems. Silence from the leadership, I guess that's the Allegiant way.

If you exercised due diligence as mandated by FARs and your moral/ethical obligation as stated on the first class medical and Airline Transport License, and enhanced by an unimpeachable board certified physician. Then you’ll hear from him.

CP completely forgot where he came from and what his job title is. Came from the ranks as a popular senior captain with high hopes and expectations from the pilots but eventually fell from favor when his true 'allegiances' came out. Total management type. Other than the occasional parroting of company propaganda, no communication or support at all. This is probably the only way to stay in management at allegiant and collect the 'bon-us'.

Read the transcripts and testimony given by the good senator in our lawsuit. That gives you an excellent representation of what promises, obligations and doing the right thing stand for.

Is it true that the latest new hire class (20?) is all 757/airbus? Any new hires coming to SFB/PIE for the MD-80? Definitely could use more MD-80 captains and FOs, peeps are getting tired of touring the state covering reserves.

Ah yes, yet another condescending letter from our CEO tonight attempting to manage our expectations by using the same tired rationalizations. We must control soft costs! Union contracts contain prohibitively expensive items that benefit nobody! We're different!
This comes less than 72 hrs after he raided the coffers for a cool $25 million. If any of our pilots fall for this, they're too stupid to fly airplanes.

I skimmed it, fast. Already new what it was, propaganda; Goebbels style. Union contacts benefit no one. Except the pilots. Sounds more canned from the F&H group.
