It's a house of cards, and a bottom card has been pulled. On the bright side, Sunrise Airlines is a brand new start up that flies from small cities to world class leisure destinations. Apply now and be a street captain!*

*Some restrictions apply. Must be willing to sign a 7 year $20,000 training contract. First year captain pay $61/hr. Must buy own DC-9 type rating.

Does anyone know if they have a training contract?

Nope. You can leave right after your check ride. No hard feelings.

Dude, you could even score an airbus or 757 type right of indoc. Then march that over to your career carrier. Just lie to the pogue’s. Like they do to us.

If everyone did this, the world would be a better place. Seriously. Just tell MG (The CP) that you have no intention on going to a legacy airline. (Like he does to us)

"Look guys, I'd rather sell Sofas than take my recall...."

Quoted in recurrent of 2013. No joke.

Absolutely, when the question comes up, just say you don’t have any applications out anywhere else. Practice that one in the mirror a few times, so you don’t crack. It’s a great answer, because if you’re being asked, you’re in that age group that doesn’t preclude you from moving on. Given your possible age it would bring you under severe suspicion. Just say things like, “I heard you guys were different” and “I’ll do anything to be home every night”, or “I’ll sign your training contract with no mental reservation, or for purpose of evasion.”

We don’t have a training contract, so it’s a phony declaration. The Pogue’s will eat it up.

Everyone should follow these words. If we can't get them to stop applying, maybe we can help them progress their careers on the back of Ol' Mr. ValuJet founder.

I'm not sure I'm comfortable having a CP who exhibits this kind of judgement.

If he's getting the amount of stock options I've heard then I don't blame him. He doesn't have to work at all ever again.

Yet we get zero.
