Pretty wild that the NH class of 19 that started last Friday is going to the 757 & AB!! I'm sure there are plenty of FOs out on the Line that would've liked to have been able to bid for those slots. Guess they've gotta remain 'flexible!' :/

Unless they are either seat locked or no one else has it in their bid choices. Maybe someone more industrious can verify.

I know of at least one senior FO who I'm pretty sure has 757 bid. I don't know if he's been awarded it or not though.

Its surprising what some people will do to "improve" their "status."

You'd think they'd remember from their first job hunt. I remember to this day the stress of trying to go from the military to the airlines.

Those are the guys angling for a management job.

Me too. I am getting my resume together. At first I thought of it as their negotiating tactics to delay and treat it all like a joke. Now it is just becoming insulting. People are pouring their heart and soul into this effort, just like we did to help build this place. To be so dismissive is just an insult. Many of us have been here years longer than a lot of our management. We put a lot of effort into carrying the operation when everything was in complete disarray. For years we did the job of every other department and to some extent continue to today. All we ever asked for is a fair and reasonable contract. They are proving to be completely beyond simple reasoning. It is going to get ugly. I might be here for it or I might just get the applications out and see what happens.

Right behind ya Thrust! I'm done. Apps going out next week. Too embarrassing of a place to work.

Alright, its me, Dawg, AZ and now Autothrust who are disgruntled with g4 emt. That’s now a grand total of four g4 pilots that don’t like the actions of our emt. I think I’m starting to see a trend here?

Ahh, the dog days of summer have now come to a close, pumpkin patches will soon be in bloom. Fall leaves be fallin any day now, I can taste that Christmas Ham already,(unless of course you’re forced Tdy’d, or H.O.M. based, in that case you be eating a semi-warmed Salisbury steak t.v. dinner, because the Denny’s crew got xmas eve off). The chill in the air will be felt all over our beautiful sunny, summer hot bases, with the exception of BLI of course, you guys are always freezing. I digress, I’m feeling all “Informational Pickety”. Its time. Its time for the dry run. It’s time to wipe that convenient obtuse indifference off their smug faces.

To all of our prospective new hires that attend the next job fair, if you feel so bold, ask some simple questions about our H.O.M., a.k.a, home-basing, home-based, or whatever their calling it. It sounds like a gem to us, we know little about it. Of course that’s intentional. The less you put down on paper, the less violation of RLA status quo law suits you would have to defend, as they are now.

1) How many days off are you guaranteed?
2) Are you positive spaced before the month, after the month and/or during the month? What I’m getting at is can you get me home to my real home, during the month, on a positive space ticket?
