Harsh? Was it? Ok, I agree with your assessment. What was it that wasn’t fact? You supposedly have two or three “Friends” that are happy as can be? This is what I can offer, fact: The union was voted in by G4 pilots, by overwhelming participation and voted for union representation. Did I hallucinate that one? They did this why? Because g4 pilots are all good with it? The overwhelming majority of which are completely satisfied with this emt? G4 pilots have spoken via the ballot box. That’s a convenient fact the emt and F&H would like us to ignore.
I point to “Biased for action”, a calling cry around here. A euphemism used by this emt to ram policies detrimental to the pilots. I give you fact; our court injunction was agreed upon by a federal judge, in their own hometown. To which the judge indicated we will eventually win our case outright. That wasn’t me who said that. Forced Tdy’s across the country to uncommutable schedules, that doesn’t happen?
Ohh, that’s right you have a couple buddies that think its all good. Hmm, really. I noticed you have two or three post? New to posting on APC? Interesting you claim not to work here or have any other affiliation, other than your supposed buddies. Yet you feel compelled to speak on their behalf.

Your 8 year CA friend is by far the minority. Or he doesn't want to admit he works for a *hitbag operation.

If you had read this and the other G4 threads you would have noticed that the 'why are you still there' bit has been addressed several times. Are you really that ignorant or are you just trying to 'stir the pot'? Since I'm feeling generous, I'll go ahead and address that statement AGAIN: you think when you decide to leave an airline your phone rings the next day?

It was another one of our g4 posters who put it right. Whether we stay or whether go, this emt is attempting, what airline management’s have always tried to do. Pay us nothing, make us live in the parking lot, make us work 30 days a month. Because we should only feel grateful to have a job. Re-defining the professional piloting compensation model. Using code phrases, such as: “We’re different”, “Not in our DNA”. If g4 pilots allowed this, it would bring down the rest of the industry. So, at my new airline job, the emt would feel emboldened to mimic what g4 emt could get past their pilots.

Training pay is now 70 hour guarantee. Still no accommodations or rental car for Ground School, but it appears they're putting folks up when they start CPT's & Sims.
Pretty wild that the NH class of 19 that started last Friday is going to the 757 & AB!! I'm sure there are plenty of FOs out on the Line that would've liked to have been able to bid for those slots. Guess they've gotta remain 'flexible!' :/

Thanks for the heads up. I appreciate it.
Another day in the airline business. Unforutnately, it seems.

As far as benefits, it's near the bottom of the barrel with respect to other airlines. Our medical "insurance" is a high deductible plan that is basically catastrophic coverage. Unfortunately, many other companies are heading that way as well. Dental is middle of the road and vision used to be good but we switched providers and I haven't used it yet. Very low match on the 401(k) at 4%. For a family, you'll pay about $350/month for all of it (not including HSA contributions).
The training department is getting better but it is overwhelmed now. And yes, it has been described by many as a "testing" department.
