Skywest recently stalled a -200... I don't know how we haven't done the same with some of our rocket scientists at the controls.

The plane makes you nervous because it goes near the limit? Really? Do you return to the gate if you have a 499 degree start because it approached the limit? Jeezus people... Learn your frickin systems.
First off I wasn't there when the plane couldn't make 330, but I am friends with the pilot and have nothing but the highest respect for this individuals airmanship. The plane never made it to 330, it stopped climbing at 32.6 and airspeed started to decay. The FMS indicated 330 was doable. The crew started a descent and contacted ATC which had to issue vectors for traffic. Sound like they handled the situation as best they could to me.

Second I know my limitations, but when both engines on said aircraft push redline on nearly every take off that is cause for concern. What happened to only one red engine per plane??? What about safety is our highest core value?? I don't care that on paper this practice is "safe and legal" when in reality we ARE putting extra stress and wear and tear on these motors. It wouldn't count for two cycles if it didn't. So yes, constantly pushing an engine right up to limits that shows signs of already being weak with another engine that isn't much better gives me cause for concern.

You all are lucky Allegiant doesn't have a court make APC cough up your IP addresses, track you down and have you fired. They would also be in a good position to sue you for slander.
Why target a select few when there's over 300 pages filled with names? Round em all up! Don't forget the people that have posted stuff about Allegiant on other forums and fire or sue them too! New revenue stream! Sue the media and the unions while you're at it. Angry passengers talking to reporters? Sue them too. Slander!!! You might even include yourself since your comments haven't always been rosy either.

Have you seen those offices at the "new" headquarters? I would go completely insane as well if I had to work there and deal with those individuals. It's like a Chinese sweatshop. Just long rows of desks with zero chance of privacy to get work done. I think at night it turns into a sewing room for Abercombie & Fitch.

On a positive note, there are some good guys in management and there's been a few promising additions in key positions lately

And deletions. The fact that 2 VPs were given their walking papers last week is proof that even senior management knows change is needed. No idea who will eventually replace them but for the sake of those who stay (my Phone hasn't rung yet), I hope that trusting, charismatic leaders & managers find their way into these and other key positions. A change in philosophy will obviously have to come from the top and that too must happen eventually. We should try to lay the groundwork to encourage our good guys to step up or this place will only get worse.

Good leaders like Bethune have turned companies around by finding talented leaders and working with them to find joint solutions with the line workers. Who knows, a new fleet type, a change in management philosophy and a descent contract could eventually make a difference around here. It's happened before at places like Spirit, who knows, one can hope, right?

Hey Disco; your pompous post are at least entertaining to those of us who actually care about AAY. But before you attempt to extinguish statements on here (why would you try that by the way?); let me point out something: your "sue for slander" exhibits that YOU, are the idiot here. Slander, is #1; an ORAL statement. #2; a FALSE statement; and also requires the plaintiff (this would be the company to help you out) prove specific damages. There is also an element of intent I believe that would also be missing on posts on this board.

Now it looks like you are posting false information saying the company, FAA, etc should find the information on these individuals and take action on them. Well, Slander wouldn't even make it to the file clerk at the courthouse. Look up Libel (actually, I'll help you out again). This is a written, published form of defamation; which is really what you are trying to say. But before you jump on here and make a correction to your idiocy; look up a few case law references regarding yelp; google review; trip advisor; etc.

Now, I'll accept the "thank you" from you! And your correct, I didn't need to waste my time with you, but I just want to let others know, you do look like an idiot on here. I also want our free speech rights to overshadow your ridiculous attempt to silence others. Hey everyone: post what you like, as long as the statements are not intentionally (and factually proven by the company) false.

Lastly; I differ from a few others regarding you on the bus at AAY. I want you to stay there. At least until you leave. You see, from the left seat on the 80, you sound like the type of FO that really doesn't make for a pleasant trip. You appear cocky, pompous, and simply out for yourself. You are the "I got mine" type of troop that those of us who fight for the group shake our heads at. Oh don't worry, we'll still include you in the benefits of a great contract, but we all know, you will only be looking out for yourself. Oh wait; with your charismatic personality, I'm certain Delta, AA, SWA, etc will be using your technique, and searching you out from your IP address and begging you to work for them. I guess you won't be here for a new contract after all.

My respect for Gordo just reached a whole new level. Well said. Makes some excellent points about disco's angle and motives.

Management posers aside. Potential new hires should take note. This is how our management uses their time. To spread the ill will of their masters.

Again, I'm not on the list, but I think this is right on the money. No professional aviator knowingly takes unsafe airplanes. It simply isn't worth the risk to the license.

I have nothing but admirations for the Allegiant MD guys. They've save Allegiant from a smoking hole Valujet type incident that could and would kill off the whole thing. Too bad management can't or won't recognize that the pilots are what's keeping the whole thing afloat.

Sad, really sad.
