Ehh I don't know about that... If you listened to the last shareholder conference call they stated that they already have approval for the growth they plan to conduct this year. That FAA hold would only affect them for next years growth. Which of course management thinks there's no way the hold will be in effect that long. They believe it will be retracted any day now. If we can keep that in place, that would be a fantastic weapon for us.

One of our new cities, Indianapolis, is listed in the Ops Specs as B757 only. Wonder if that will be updated before we fly MD80s there in June? How is life on the B757/LAS these days - decent schedules?
Update: Looks like we are flying all 3 a/c types to IND already. Ops Specs not up to date I guess.

Why be so "precise?"

Our schedules and pay have been wrong since the inception of Merlot and that presses on indefinitely into the future as well. Now in light of the errors of choosing Merlot we find that IT is creating a MX tracking program in-house instead of purchasing a better product. We know all the problems with Merlot and yet buying a more expensive and proven system is not an option. Now our MX program will be working out the bugs from here to eternity to save a buck too.
Now we find the FAA finally puts it foot down in regards to labor strife in not allowing the company to grow into new markets. Hooray! Oh wait... instead of forcing the company to share it's immense profits by actually bargaining in good faith they have decided to have all passengers sign a waiver in new cities saying they are flying a charter as a workaround. This is seriously happening. And all the while the FAA and NMB hope for the best. It's exhausting from an employee standpoint. How can you justify our head management making much higher salaries than all of their peers while demanding all employees make less than their peers? How can you pay out divedends while refusing to purchase better software or allocate resources to fix manuals to help your company run properly? How and when does that change?

How long after a phone interview does it take to get a call for a face to face interview?
