f9 is busy flying there own schedule. They are trying to increase utilization of their airframes. Even if that was not the case, you guys at G4 have nothing to worry regarding F9 doing your flights...the pilot group will not allow it.
Miami Air is same local union as G4, that would be highly unlikely.
Not sure about Orange Air...However there is still Falcon and Wold Atlantic that are desperate for business.

Plus there is the little issue of the Spirit strike scab treatment that makes me think that the Falcon pilots would not fly G4's struck flying.

According to one of the recent union emails, pretty much everyone including Miami Air and Falcon Air told them to go pound sand.

While I don't beleive G4 pilots will ever strike. It is great to see such an outpour of support. I truly hope a resolution is reached soon.

From what I was told about some of the comments made by the judge, it doesn't sound good for management.

So I want a particular day off. But if I don't get that day off, I want to cover myself with a few trips instead of risking reserve. Do I bid day off 1st, and then the trips I want below. Or does the spreadsheet wizard always give priorities to trips over days off regardless of how you bid?

I heard the same thing. Words to the affect; ‘If I catch you lying, it wont be good’. One can surmise that such a statement would portend a certain level of distrust. That’s like asking a scorpion not to sting you.

With the way they award trips, it doesn't necessarily start on the first day of the month, it could start somewhere in the middle, and then jump around days of the month before going back to the first day of the month. If they need you to fly that day because of other peoples legality issues or being on one of their minimum days off, then you WILL fly that day, regardless of seniority.
If you end up with a trip on a day you absolutely need off, then do what everyone else does.

Bid the day off first, and then put trips after that. You have to remember their PBS system is all about THEIR preferences, not YOURS.

Next take your second day you want off and put that as your second preference and in the least preferred put 30 (or 29 if there are 30 days in the month. Ect
I would recommend you take advantage of the company's 1 on 1 payed tutering. If you want the days off and trips you want. It is a pretty easy system once you figure it out. The most important thing to know is if the optimizer goes through the global list and it doesn't have you at enough hours (it awarded you all the days off you asked for) it will go through the list and give you the trips that you bid for in the order you put them if it hasn't given them to someone senior unless it makes you illegal.
