So far in the last several years, I have sent copies of my certificates about ten times, my passport six times, my medical takes at least three tries every time I get a new one, and my FCC license three times.

I think someone is eating the copies, or maybe we have an identity thief that works at HQ.

QOL, QOL, schedules, schedules; pay should be a factor, but if schedules (which equates to quality of life) don't change, then a slight money bump won't matter. AND, for all of those who are wondering when the next class is; how quick to upgrade if I come here; etc......read this thread! Geeeeeeez, the schedules suck, the pay sucks, and the equipment.....well, like I said; learn how to read junior, and don't ask how to get hired. We are wanting a strike! 98% of us are fed up. Why ask about hiring and fast upgrades? Support the effort, and apply (after) the strike.

98% of us are fed up.

I wonder if the last 2 percent had their finger slip when voting.

Sounds reasonable to me. After all, American profit margins don't compare to ours, neither do their executive's compensation. As I see it, the only thing stopping us is us. I am not buying into this garbage that we will be paid wages comparable to other low-cost carriers like JetBlue. If JetBlue pilots won't except JetBlue pay, why should we?

That keeps management happy. So long as we continue to do their job, they can continue to run their operation lean of peak, maximizing profits for the shareholders. Minimal staffing, resources, and training drive frustration and constant turnover. Combine that with the daily turnover of a cheap contractor, and it makes sense that nobody ever knows what's going on. Chronic chaos, but somehow the job gets done, usually by us. Problem
solved. This same principle is applied at every level and every department. It's like we start a new airline every day. When guys leave to go to 'real' airlines (travel company??) the first thing they notice is the organization and orderly fashion by which they operate.

I used to do that, then I got "counseled" for my attitude in my emails. Now I just send them "My pay was short last month" and let them figure it out.

How hard can it really be? The bottom of Merlot says 88.3 flown 87.1 scheduled. Block or better so pay 88.3. 70 guarantee, 18.3 crew, and 7.3 @ 1.3, Done. Pretty basic as long as there was no day off pay, MM, etc.
