All this talk about the PEB is comical. We fly Maw and Paw from Cedar Rapids to Orlando for their yearly vacation. If we disappeared tomorrow, they would fly on another carrier. Nobody would notice. There will be no PEB intervention.

All I'm saying is that I wouldn't depend on a president to allow or stop a strike, regardless of theyre political affiliation.

Although there was no direct intervention by the White House to end the NWA strike, there was a lot of behind closed door pressure to both management and ALPA to do so.

CLMP has accurately pointed out how insignificant we are. We not an airline, ‘we’re different’; we’re a Travel-Synergies IT bundling (bungling) service provider. We don’t have DOT provided slots to anywhere, no EAS, nådå. That’s why the NMB will release us. They don’t have to worry about phone calls from any legislature asking why they can’t get home this weekend. What is significant about the 1998 NWA strike; they were released in two years of negotiations after having more TA’d items. Contrary to management spin.

You just keep playing your volley ball game Mav; the NMB’s got you covered.

Takes one to know one, I guess.

Let's support these guys as they tangle with scumbag management, not toss bombs from the peanut gallery.
I do support them. Just asking the question. I forgot about the subservice fill-ins for their flying.

Last year AAY spent 25 million on "sub-service". So yes....scope is a huge issue.
