Yes, but the problem is you'll mostly get almost every Tues and Sat OFF along with everyone else. The only variable day it seems is Wednesday, senior peeps get a bit more flexilbility but many of them commute or just aren't interested. You also can't see what's going on in other bases per our schedule software so it's hard to try and find something out of base. Maybe crew scheduled would help you with this? But I don't know I've never tried.

Sorry to steal your thunder and enthusiasm. If your young and single and live in base and willing to be TDY'd for a few months until you get some seniority it's tolerable. Other than that you'll have a QOL that's horrible and you'll get burnt out. I came from a dying regional with no upgrade in sight, Ive taken a QOL hit but I'll admit the paycheck is bigger.

Hopefully in 6 months this contract drama will be behind us and we'll be on par with NKS or JB, then I'll be more than happy to invite guys over.

Seniority really doesn't matter either. I was close to being involuntarily TDY'd for March, and I've been here almost ten years.

This too. I heard there was a guy in a similar situation in Florida that had a young family and outright refused to go out West. I'm not sure what the company response was but kudos to him!

Below your avatar it says MD80. I only saw Airbus TDYs for March?

I'll eventually change that, some time down the road.

Allegiance flies the same equipment as Delta and American. You should expect the same pay as them for the same equipment. You have the same training standards and responsibilities, therefore the pay should be the same.

Allegiant doesn't pay less for fuel because they are a Ultra low cost carrier. They don't get a discount on parts for aircraft either. Why should they get a discount for their pilots? We have to get out of this mindset that we are worth less to different airlines for the same equipment. This ideology is management Jedi mind trick voodoo horse crap.

Well, I don't see my upgrade anytime soon at my current employer as well. Are you the FO I spoke to at TRI?

I'm not carrying that mindset at all. I don't think JB and Spirit are behind the Legacies much, per the equipment. Especially Airways and American post bankruptcy. Per a recent Vets in Blue job fair the highest paid senior open-time-hawking FO cleared 200, the equivalent Captain made 350. I know that Spirit isn't quite as high hourly, but has some incredible work rules that even DL doesn't have. It's all the soft pay. The only litmus test for the 757 of course is the Legacies.

Either way, I'm fully onboard to get a top notch contract and not cave to a last minute luke warm one.
