Oh good.
Is Punta Gorda growing? Guy in line at the job fair said it was "doubling" in size. How true is that?
Sorry for all the questions but 8 long hours on airport reserve...

PGD has already more or less doubled in size. It's approaching 20ish crews. On the last bid there wasn't too much for PGD open, so it may it nearing where they want it for now.

Hey guys.
Few questions if you don't mind. I've been to 2 job fairs but the face time is so limited that figured I'd just try to get some answers here. So if I may:
1. Can you please describe a typical work day's schedule? More specifically in the Florida bases. (I figure it's mostly 2 leg days, 8-10 hour duty)
2. Same question as #1 but for the month? For reserve and line holders.
3. Is there an ability to improve your schedule by trading with open time or other crew members?
4. How are the travel benefits? Do you get a designated pass rider or any buddy passes?
5. Most important of all. Is there coffee on board and is in any good?
Thank you in advance.

I have read it and am well aware. At the same time, there is no other airline that offers what Allegiant offers. All day trips where I can be home every day, in Florida where the cost of living is low, based in small airports with no delays or EDCT times just to name a few. Great pilot group too from the few I've met.
The way I see it, it can only go one of 2 ways. You'll strike and the company caves or they'll just make you an offer you can't refuse resulting in no strike. Either way I'd love to be there when it happens.

Hi guys, I sent my stuff in some months ago, and have yet to hear back. I am a 8,000 hour corporate guy (most all jet time). Anyone know what it takes to get an interview? I am wanting to make the switch to the 121 world. Allegiant seems like it would be a good fit for me.

All good info and I appreciate you guys bringing it up. As far as EDCT's, I do expect some but I'm based in EWR where I get them 90% of the time even when the weather is good. Most days here are between 3-5 legs and you almost never finish on time. Well, it's a regional and I don't have to tell you how horrible it is compared to any LCC.
Your Virtual base does sound horrible and I wish it wasn't so but after "paying my dues" for 7 years at the regional's, what's one more?
Hadn't heard guys were getting the 757. Thought it was a mix between the 2 other airplanes. It's an airline though. Things change every second so we'll see what happens.
Keep fighting the good fight.
