Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday off, with no ability to change one's schedule is the reality right now. Senior or junior, it does not matter. Commuting is difficult at best if you are senior in your seat, virtually impossible if you are junior because the days off are generally broken up into 2 and 1 day blocks. The bottom line is simple: I you like to watch the NFL and don't live in Florida, G4 is not the place for you. If you love Florida and are a college football guy and you don't like drinking beer (cause you will always be working on Sunday) it may be a decent fit. Hopefully it gets better.

Exactly. It's a good thing I'm 'flexible'...

What you should be hoping for is a solid Negotiating committee and dedicated group of pilot volunteers, or you may just end up with not much more than what you have now.

I've worked at non union carriers and it sucks I know, but having the right representation in contract talks will/can make a world of difference.

I really hope for the best for you guys and hope you get a CBA on par for what you deserve.
There was some push back by a few because of IBTs reputation. On the near local level, our exco negotiating committee is comprised with top-notch g4 pilots. Management has begun ramping up the rhetoric, by shifting the attention to IBT. Pivoting away from the fact that our exco is comprised of us. So, IBT national, good or bad. Is of no concern to me.

That's probably a persons best chance for a west coast base out of training. Or anytime soon.

UAL and DAL apps are open as well...

I'm looking into Allegiant for the SFB base. How JR can go? I'm at a regional and would like to go to a additional step. I live around 1hr away from SFB.

1st year pay would be a break even for me.

Just looking for more information...

You can hold SFB right out of training. I think a couple of new hires even went to the Airbus in SFB out of training. If you live in SFB and want to stay there the rest of your career then Allegiant is the place for you.

Can any Allegiant pilot tell us if there is a woman there with the name that sounds like Rodent Turd. If so, stay away from Allegiant, well away.
