No EWR base. In fact the 757s don't go to the east coast anymore as far as I know.

Classic. The current anti-labor management swaggered in 4 years ago and in their infinite wisdom decided to stop 'coddling' the pilots by notifying them that their medicals were due. Really showed those pilots, huh? Now the FAA is up their tail pipe for this and all the other brilliant schemes they came up with.

Chickens are coming home to roost.

Those are not Allegiant airplanes. Logo looks identical but they have foreign tail numbers and different name.

Classic sign of the most disorganized operation you can possibly imagine.

One would think that they did it because they need the pilots, but in reality, they have no clue whose medical expires when.

Sorry I have no idea about updating resumes.

There were a fair amount of 8/13, 12/13, & 1/14 that made the cut his past Aug/Sep vacancy announcements. More recently, though, the awards have gone a bit more senior since the 'TDY Base' (VBD) has been filled by more junior upgrades. The more senior folks are likely to stay in the base they bid & not get perma-TDY'd as more VBD folks come online to fill the monthly holes in the schedule. But who knows what's in store with all the AB deliveries coming....

That's crap. I know a lot of guys/gals that want the bus in my base but the company does not put a bid out. Horse poo.

This might be true, it might not. The process is ultimately non-transparent, and doesn’t always follow seniority.
