I mentioned that because you made it sound like the ones that should get fired do, because you don't have a union. It is like anywhere else, there are people that should be fired, but are not.

I think this post and continuing discussion will better inform people applying here.
What I said has NOTHING to do with the national health care situation. It only has to do with how MG and Allegiant pulled the plug on your health care options. They could have offered the same options at a higher cost, but didn't even do that. Pull your head out of the sand and ask WHY?...(and don't blame the whole health system, that is not it...)

Considerably more concessionairy than "Band 2".
I was disappointed in AAPAG. And I helped craft the proposal that was sent to MG regarding work rule enhancements a few years ago. At which point MG offered a bribe (now known as the "banded" pay scales) to kill the union effort and get everyone to ignore everything else that needed (and still needs to be) addressed. But I suppose, by the sound of your posts, that that was before your time there. I'm glad you like it. Hopefully you will continue to. But you are kidding yourself, and misleading others on this forum, when you say AAPAG makes real progress and it is good there.

ALPA had its chance at Allegiant and was squashed by a pay raise given to the pilot group - not negotiated by aapag.

My bet is, this group will vote in Teamsters 2012.

Allegiant could be a great place to work with proper representation and a solid contract in place. But, we ain't there yet.
