Allegiant Interviews...

Allegiant Interviews...
Can anyone who went on the latest round of interviews comment on a few things?... Specifically;
-What is the overall composition of the group of people that where invited to interview? Background? Total time? Internal recs?
-How many people did they invite to interview and how many were offered a job?
-Any intel on future hiring plans?
Also, if anyone knows, I cannot figure out how to update my application on the Allegiant job site. I can log in and re-submit a cover letter or resume, but I cannot figure out how to actually access my application so I can make changes.
Thanks, and congrads to those who where offered an interview and/or a job!

I can't even set up a profile on their job site. Can anyone give any pointers? Is the website messed up, or am I doing something wrong? There is a tab for editing your profile and viewing submitted applications, but I have done neither but would like to. Any help greatly appreciated...

My original post was about a year and a half ago... I dont think they are hiring at the moment, maybe an Allegiant guy/gal can chime in. I believe when they start hiring you will be able to access the job posting and submit your stuff. Good luck

You will not be able to add an application until they open a application window. I would not expect hiring tell after march. March is one of the busiest month for allegiant and we normally do not hire that month. We do have a pool so those 15 or so pilots will get called to class then new interviews after that is used. I would listen to the financial call on Feb 1st they usually lay out growth numbers. We currently only have 1 of 6 757's flying suppose to have 4 going by summer the others by year end, plus a few more md80's around 4 at the end of year when 166 seat conversion is complete.

Oh, ok. The Allegiant APC page says that the window is open. Apparently it's a typo. Which explains why I can't set up my profile. Thanks! BTW, how is life at Allegiant? And what are the stats of people getting hired? I'm curious what my chances are...

I'm curious about the above post. (QOL, etc.) I live within an hours drive from SFB. Would that be easy to get SFB straight out of class? If not, how long would it take to get based there? Thanks!

If past practice is any indication nothing happens 'till they announce interviews (which btw can come at any moment despite prior assurances that they are not hiring) at which point you need to go online and fill out the app. and then type up a cover letter and resume which your friend then walks in.
The question about SFB....in the past this has been available relatively quickly, sometimes right away.

Laxrox43- I was hired in the Oct. 21st class and if anyone wanted any of the bases in FL they could have them. SFB went to the most jr. guy in our class, and he has since bid out for LAS for Feb. According to the last published bid list SFB went to 3 people in the Dec. class, including the most jr. guy in class. Per the published bids of the 3 who got SFB only one wanted it.
So the short answer is yes, on the FO side it is very easy to get SFB and you would most likely get it right out of class if you wanted it.
Best of luck to you! So far I love it here! Best gig in the business if you live in base. All day trips and home every night.
