Thanks slow, I didn't want to say it. The plane may look good, but the pay certainly doesn't.

I've heard there's a 3 year lock on the equipment too. But I'll stay out of that storm and just say its a purdy bird.

This is the Southwest of our generation in the making. But nobody will care as long as their management "cares" for them and makes them believe that they have industry leading pay.

Do you guys also hate the rate for that aircraft at CAL, UAL, and USAir as well?

Let's not forget why the legacy rates are so bad. When those companies went into Chapter 11 and abrogated their Union contracts, they got the judge to IMPOSE the NON-UNION jetBlue narrow body rate in force at the time.

So, yes, non-Union pilots who work cheap depress EVERYONE'S wages.
