Allegiant 757 spotted

While it would be nice if everybody could spell properly, and if not, at least let the tools available fix it for them.
But, I don't think we want to read about the fact that it's misspelled. Those who misspell probably don't know and don't care, and those who can spell can spell... well, they can plainly see the errors.
You spelled "their" correctly ;-) Should have read, "Irregardless they're sitchuashun liddle dipherent."

Explain why these Allegiant guys should quit and go to Home Depot because some other pilots don't like how much money Allegiant pays?
Free market is free market, baby! It's a b!$@#. Stop beating down a man(woman) doing an honest days work.
Adapt and overcome.

by the way who is saying quit? aren't they just saying they are tired of airlines continually undercutting others for growth?

I am not going to get into extreme details, due to my poor grammar I will do everyone a favor and keep it brief...
This is mainly towards Johnso29, slowplay, Fishfreighter, and TD,
Since you guys are comparing Allegiant pay scales to ex-major/legacy pay rates. Why not also include Eastern Air Lines, Pan American World Airways and Braniff International Airways back “in the day.” I read that back in the 60s a captain was making enough to buy a new Cadillac every month. I don't know how much that is in today’s rates, what I do know a new cadi will easily run 40k.
My dad flew a GIII for a 215/k per year. Now he is working with his friend in a construction business...which also happens to be dying out! But at least he is home every night, right?
How many pilots have AA,US Air, UA and other majors laid off? In the 1000s.
How about fleet sizes?
How much flying have legacies given away to regionals?
The answer for G4 for all of the above is ZERO
You guys are comparing a 13 year old airline to companies that have been around 60-70+ years. The only way legacies are surviving right now is by merging with one another. Which is fine, you got to do whatever it takes to survive. At the moment you guys need to worry about protecting your scope and improving your contracts. The ink is finally black instead of red.
Pilots are like nosy neighbors, they love to know what is going on next door they also cant hold back on talking trash. Not to mention they love to look down on others. And I see this every day I fly.
I guess what my point is, stop comparing present with the past. The past is gone! Lets focus on the future.

Congrats on the 75s guys, continue your hard work and good luck with your growth in the future!
phew, I am glad to get this off my chest

I agree the pay needs to rise. I doubt the pilots at Allegiant can click their heels and make it happen overnight like some of you suggest.

I know the rate for Delta. I'm on 3rd year 73NG pay and I make more than an F.O. at Allegiant would ever make on either a 757 or MD-80. Plus, our Captain rate is almost $20 more an hour. Allegient's per diem is half what we get and your 401k match is only 3%. That's a complete joke! I know regional airlines that have better contracts than Allegiant! Way to go, though, you've got bigger airplanes! Heck... Skywest is a non-union REGIONAL carrier and they've got a better working agreement than Allegiant!

I don't think we have any 2nd year F/O holding the 757. If they are, they won't be for long, I am sure they will displaced soon. New hires going to the MD88 & A320 and few to the DC9 till they park them. FYI
