Their pay scale on the 757s are the same as the 80s. They consider both types to be narrow body aircraft. Thats what the Allegiant Air Pilots Advisory Group, AAPAG) agreed to with management.. It will be a sliding scale based on operating margin and word is that its a Hawaii to West coast operation only. Pilots will be based in Hawaii and wether it will be a heavy crew or two crews, one deadheading in the back at $20.00 an hour, is to be determined in the future.. Hopefully they wont settle for the deadhead schedules and insist, as much as they can, (cant though actually) that its heavy crewed..

Basically under the new scheme

At Tier 1

YR 2 FO gets 60.00 Hr
YR 3 CA gets 123.00 Hr

YR 5 CA gets 125.00 Hr
YR 5 FO gets 78.00 HR

Top out year 12

CA 140
FO 82

At Tier 4

Yr 2 FO gets 70.00 Hr
YR 3 CA gets 143.00 Hr

YR 5 FO gets 93.00 HR
YR 5 CA gets 145.00 HR

Top out year 12

CA 160
FO 97

You can interpolate the tier 2-3 rates as it takes too long for me to type..

As you can see, better than before but ALL worthless without a CBA..

Sad

The rates you see on the "airlines" section are until May 1 of this year. After that the new rates go into effect. It's a 4 tiered scale dependent on company profitability.

Tier 1 is about 20% higher than the ones you see on this site and tier 4 are about 45% higher across the board.

We are guaranteed tier 3 or 4 for the first 12 months. After that it's anybody's guess...

In short, the new raise puts us at close to the DL md-80 rates (for a year) to fly the -80 and the 757.. If we remain uber profitable it stays that way... If our profit margin decreases, we're lookin at roughly somewhere between United 737 rates and Frontier's A320 rates (so they say).

In my humble opinion, should the ALPA drive fail; this pilot group has succumbed to both Shiny Jet Syndrome complicated by a flashy "smoke in mirrors" pay scheme.

Hopefully it all works out and I'm wrong...... Doubt it though.. History has proven here that this pilot group will bottom feed like the worst of em...
I do not think approving this contract was a good idea. Quarter after quarter we watch airlines pay off debt, stash cash in the bank, have an operational profit, but still manage to lose $$$ for the quarter.

Accountants are tricky people, & I would not be suprised if Allegiant pilots never see anything but the very bottom tier of that contract. It gets more difficult every year to raise the bar. Things like this do not help.

Okay.......who let the management guy in here?

Remember fellas, you could be getting $5 an hour, but as long as you have a job "that's all that matters". Sheesh. Do everybody else at Allegiant a favor and don't "help".

Im amazed that there are people that actually think like this.. In case you forgot heres the definition to remind you.

'Professional' - In western nations, such as the United States, the term commonly describes highly educated, mostly salaried workers, who enjoy considerable work autonomy, a comfortable salary, and are commonly engaged in creative and intellectually challenging work..

Do you know that Allegiant could be paid Southwest rates and still have record profit margins? (still at least double SWAs profit margins) Personally I think the sliding pay scale may be a good idea, having it at industry standard should be where the bar is set though. Stop selling yourselves short..

Why? So you can do west coast turns? Better to go for a west coast base. You won't be able to afford to live in HNL for that kind of money. But enjoy the 757 while you can.

Theyve already said it will be based out of Hawaii.. Remember, no CBA so the pilots dont get a say in the matter.. Its a Hawaii base, now they just need to hope for the best with that.

First of all, living in a free country allows one to speak their mind.

Second, I dont think after having served my country for several tours of duty in places like Iraq and Afghanistan I need to be told the definition of professional. I'm sure you have placed your life on the line for your country like millions of us in the military have and I thank you for that.

Finally, who made you the expert on airline pay and what makes other people happy? Have a little decency for the people at Allegiant and their contract. Just because you may not like things doesnt mean other people agree with you.

Does anybody live in Hawaii or is it deserted? Just checking.

I do agree that it's not enough however.
