The funny thing is that Andrew... uh I mean "Tom"... thinks he's being all clever and pleading his case and winning but all he's really doing is making people dislike him more with these juvenile online shenanigins.
Face it. This union administration has failed the Allegiant pilots. You've missed a whole contract cycle now because AR and his buddies overpromised and underdelivered. They were in over their heads from day 1 and surrounded themselves with equally unqualified people (like a local attorney buddy with no NMB experience). Andrew barged in like a bull in a china shop with no understanding or care how the game is played at the NMB level where you don't pound your fist and threaten to walk out as if you're negotiating a used car at Bob's E-Z Pay Here car lot. But that's exactly what he did and both management and the mediator laughed him out of the room. Now the corruption scandals. (And how about that assessment money?) Woof. The only thing that amazes me is how many Allegiant pilots continue to believe his lies and excuses and empty promises and continue to follow him off the cliff.
At some point you have to decide to end the chaos and uncertainty and go with someone who actually seems to have more than two brain cells and a desire to be a Hoffa like mob boss with a fancy home office. Someone who can cut your losses and wrap up the contract and bring you up to industry standard. Because it seems the current group has no chance of doing that now or ever. They had their chance. They failed.

I decided to post more. It's a free country. Deal with it.
If only you spent as much effort negotiating as you do policing dissent on the interwebs. What a buffoon.

Robles had the pilot group in the palm of his hand when it was his word vs the tool’s word. Now, she’s long gone and he’s completely lost the trust of this pilot group. Instead of asking their union questions, pilots are asking flight ops management because they don’t trust the union’s talking points about negotiation - that is utter failure of organized labor and only Robles could have screwed something up so badly.
Marg - what’s the word with John Owen of APA over there? He’s the hired gun that Robles brought in. We finally have somebody in negotiations who knows how the NMB game is played. He should have been here the whole time.

I really don't delve into union politics these days because I'm really more of a punch the clock and then go home and go fishing kind of guy but if APA let him go and he went from the world's largest airline to a ULCC with 1000 pilots that says something. APA is almost as useless as the IBT. But yes at least now there's an adult with a little experience at the table. Best of luck. Robles is what's holding you back at this point. Ther longer negotiations drag on the more money lines his pockets. Really sad that the pilot group trusts Maury Gallagher more than Andrew Robles now.
