Yep. There are certainly things that could change between now and the last day of voting to change my mind. I highly doubt that will happen (less than 5% chance), but sure there are things that could that.

there are negotiations this week. i'm curious to see if progress was made. i imagine there will be some TAs because we all know AR is desperate to get some done.

I'm sorry but I don't understand. I was simply asking where you found the items the new slate would forsake in order to get the money and a quick deal.

Then you replied above. I'm just wondering where you found the items you listed out before. I was looking at the transparency website and I can't find what you're referring to.

I think i've looked at everything on the transparency website and haven't seen what Tom is talking about. I think Tom is just saying that is what the alternative slate will do so that his favorite, the current regime, remain in power.

I started typing some stuff out and referencing the whatsapp chat, but its probably best to keep that stuff out of here. Are you in the WA chat?

I can't believe you don't know this, but they had the ability to go around the union on the bonus since it was an unpaid bonus. This was going to happen with or without the union support. I didn't understand it at first either, we were losing 2 pilots per day. Look into this a little further.

I have not seen any comments by them where they have said they will give up items to get a contract faster.

A couple of things that I think are pretty big missteps (paying out the bonus, ending assessment, etc) but nothing at all about compromising the new CBA for expediency.

dude I’m the one that first said exactly what you are saying. That is why I said AR “endorsed” and he “signed off” on it. But management would not have been able to pay it out unless the union at some point agreed to it. Management can accrue all they want, but they cannot pay outside the contract without the union agreeing to it.

you calling it “an unpaid bonus” - what is that? No such thing as an unpaid bonus?

Things are never directly said, but if you go back in time on whatsapp you will see things. For one thing, there seems to be agreement in their slate that this year was a "big fail" and the exco is the reason for it. There's stuff in there if you are willing to read it (it will take time).

Its unpaid because if they decided to just pay it would be a status quo violation. You are splitting hairs, the point being you are blaming Andrew for this in your post. You intimate he gave up "greatest leverage we will ever see as a pilot group and they whiffed on it"
