I'm guessing we won't hear much from him on this one. Hopefully this is the end of the road for AR and his crew.
Tom even threatened people that they were going to get sued for speaking the truth…. I guess it wasn’t a routine audit….
Tom probably has a case of the Mondays. Lot to take in. Basically been told of Felony embezzlement and everyone at the local to lawyer up.
But like Tom says. It’s just charges… We are all naive to how it all works…

NOTICE

March 15, 2024

TO:

The Officers and Members of Local Union No. 2118

From:

Sean M. O'Brien. General President

It has come to my attention that the Executive Board of the Teamsters Local

Union No. 2118 ("LU 2118") is failing to manage the Local's affairs in accordance

with the International Constitution and LU2118's Bylaws. Investigation and audit

teams appointed by IT General Secretary-Treasurer Fred Zuckerman have uncov-

ered a pattern of systematic errors, omissions, and oversights with respect to Local

2118's finances, accounting, and administration. Among other things, LU 2118's

Executive Board has failed to adequately document, verify, or justify hundreds of

thousands of dollars in inappropriate expenditures and unapproved expenses, ig-

nored explicit directives from the International related to financial oversight and ac-

countability requirements, abused the Local's credit cards and checkbook, and dis-

regarded requirements set forth in the International Constitution related to Executive

Board meetings and general membership meetings. More specifically, the audit team

discovered hundreds of instances of missing receipts and unapproved expenditures

totaling nearly $300,000.00, found that LU 2118's president had unilaterally in-

creased his own pay by approximately $86,000.00 per year without the requisite ap-

proval, and concluded that LU 2118's officers had not established any policies or

procedures to govern essential financial and administrative matters. All told, the per-

vasive dysfunction and mismanagement revealed by the investigatory teams directly

jeopardize the interests of the Local's membership as well as those of the Interna-

tional Union.

Accordingly, based on the above, I have determined that it is necessary for me

to exercise the authority vested in this office by Article VI, Section 5 of the Interna-

tional Constitution and impose a trusteeship over the affairs of Local Union No. 2118

on an emergency basis. I have appointed Greg Unterseher to serve as the Trustee,

effective immediately. In accordance with the International Constitution, you will

receive notice of a time and location of a hearing to determine whether the emer-

gency trusteeship should be extended or dissolved

I urge all members of Local Union No. 21 18 to cooperate with the efforts of

the Trustee to investigate these matters and provide the representation to which you

are entitled.

Fraternally yours,

de.

Sean M. O'Brien

General President

Oh snap! You mean I was right again?

But as Tom said I don't work here any more and couldn't possibly know more than him.

I hope Andrew indeed faces a Federal racketeering indictment and loses his job at Allegiant and has to pay back every penny. There's a price for being a mob boss and it never ends well.

Some of us called this years ago. Nobody wanted to listen.

I'd say you were a little more than wrong. That sounds like somebody may be getting a big bill and jail time potentially.

Like I told him privately. "Are you going to redact you comments on APC?" The fact nothing on this forum should tell ya. Forget 310, he's very unrealible.
