What's the worst case scenario in your mind?

I am far too green to have any clue whatsoever! So I suppose the worst is the whole thing blows up? Honestly just want to move in the right direction and chaos generally isn't ideal. I appreciate the input!

Well it depends on why you want to come to Allegiant and how much you want to deal with the drama. It will continue to get worse(they always do) tell a deal is done. That deal could come by summer it could be 3 years, and we could eventually be able to go on strike.

Thank you so much for the reasoned response! It helped this all make quite a bit more sense. I really appreciate you all letting me jump in the middle for a second!

just to add on to PiperCub, you should know seniority is everything. There will always be drama here, and our only draw is the home every night....for now.

choose wisely and good luck in your career.

PSA starts at $93 hr vs Allegiant $56 hour. Then at 750 121 hrs PSA pays captain pay. Go where the $$ is.

Depends on your tactic. Bus type rating, 500 hrs turbine, hello mainline and wont get "metered" like some of my buddies who signed up for those glorified programs. Deal with **** pay for a year, get a base close to home, no commuting, that's worth 30k to me. Besides, you'll make it up while flying wide bodies in 3 yrs for United, while your buddies are still shoveling **** with a regional. I am not a subject matter expert, but have been advised this is a way to "skin the cat"

Assuming the current trajectory, pace of negotiations & no big changes you're looking at getting very hung up on scheduling & eventually reaching an impasse & getting released. Figure 2-3 more years, maybe more. It just is what it is. People can stomp their feet all they want & rant about the system, but there's just no quick fix.

And then you've completely missed the most profitable contract cycle in the last 2 decades of this industry and the best negotiating environment any of us have seen in our entire careers. All because of AR's arrogance and incompetence. 2-3 more years of being the lowest paid Airbus pilots in the USA.

It is what it is. If it takes 5 more years that’s what it takes. This isn’t a place for everyone.
