idk but this pilot group is a joke. All they wanna do is point fingers at the union, when they should be at the company. I guarantee if the company was serious and showed up with an industry standard contract it’d be signed tomorrow. Instead this pilot group goes in a circle buying into the companies union busting tactics. Not saying AR is our holy savior but for *******s sake point the finger at the company that keeps promising all of this growth to both us and investors. We should be starting to rapidly expand but instead the company barely wants to keep up with attrition by hiring all of these visa workers
I used to think Nate was full of it. I was a firm believer in AR's actions based on the results I was seeing. But I think Nate has been spot-on this whole time. From what i've heard, AR has fully embraced the autocracy that he created with the help of his followers on the e-board and the pilot group when we voted in the new local rules. Based on your response, I wouldn't be surprised if you were an e-board member or steward yourself, deflecting attention away from ARs misdeeds and back on to the company. The eboard is now simply an AR validation group, not a check on AR's power. I've flown with several of the eboard members previously and can't believe they've sacrificed their integrity to back their "leader". Also, a new NC chairman? AR will surely be in the next room dictating everything. That NC chairman also gave you the contract you have now. What a joke. One $h*t show for another.
Good for RJ for speaking out against a group that will surely go after him. And good for the stewards who quit because they didn't want to be apart of it. It's good to see that a few of them still had integrity.

Rationalizing bad behavior by AR and his goons based on the company's behavior? Has it occurred to you that both can be wrong at the same time?

Fast forward to now, he places as LEAD NEGOTIATIOR the same guy that had a huge part in the turd we now call a CBA, and the same guy that according to him couldn't hack it as president. Let that sink in for a minute.

What's really amazing about the new "plant" in the NC as the leader is the same guy Andrew called a failure when he though he was running against him! At the beginning of this election AR didn't know who was going to step to the plate, all he had were rumors. He initially thought that C.B and S.A were running against him, and he brought up the fact that S.A had been the local president for a month or so and walked off the job (abandoned were his exact words). He then went one to say S.A couldn't hack it, and that he would bury him with everything he knew if he ran against him.

But I am equally bewildered that you think management is just gonna roll over and give us an "industry standard contract" when what that term actually means is a legacy contract.
Because that is what "industry standard" means: industry standard = legacy contract.
You don't think we are gonna have to fight and negotiate hard for a legacy contract? you think MG and management are just gonna concede the ULCC talking points and say, "you know what, you make a great point, even though we are a ULCC and have a completely "business model" than the legacies we are gonna give you a legacy contract because you asked for it."
That is absurd. To get what we want and deserve - which is absolutely a contract no different than the legacies - then we will have to earn, fight, and negotiate hard for it. To think that this management, with MG as CEO, is gonna just give us a legacy contract is beyond absurd.

I am confused by this post? Are you saying that RJ is a mole for the company and that he should be pointing the finger at management instead of the union? I seriously don't understand this? I have flown with RJ and spoken to him over the years. I believe he has more integrity and resilience than any other pilot we've had in union leadership. If he points the finger at AR then I will believe him to the end. To insinuate that he called out AR because he is "buyin into the company's union busting tactics" is utter nonsense and you should frankly be ashamed. I don't know RJ well, but I am close with people who have worked with him and served in the union with him - he is exactly the type of leader we need fighting and representing us against management.

Rest assured it won't happen in the next 3 years with AR running the show. I'm guessing you still think he has all of our best interest at heart? What do you think the state of the industry will be in 1-2 years? Better than it is now? Worse? Of course the truth is that none of us know for sure, but I'd say the time for us to get our best deal has long since passed. We are stuck with what we have thanks in large part to this clown show of a union.

So, unconfirmed by the Eboard, but Ive been hearing that they hired the former Sec/Treas (who used to be Allegiant but quit and went to AA after posting a scathing video) into some type of union contractor/consultant for $72k a year?! Our dues going towards a former yes man who works at another airline? And he was at HQ today talking to newhires/upgrades? Please tell me this is all some kind of bad dream.

Andrew has officially entered the twilight zone. There is nothing he could do that would surprise me at this point. You cannot make up the shenanigans he is pulling. It is right out of a mobster/dictator playbook. Purging all the infidels who refuse to bend the knee and replacing them with sycophants who will grovel just to be in his presence.
Has Andrew done anything in the past 3 months for the pilot group? Of all the nonsense he has done, none of it is for us. He’s not even pretending anymore. He’s gone into hiding like a reclusive, paranoid dictator and insulated himself from the pilots. What a coward.
where are all of your videos now Andrew? Why’d you stop using that $80k video equipment that you purchased with our dues? What is the plan for our contract? Where is all the momentum you promised was just around the corner during the election? We know you scour these forums - where are you now??
