Allegiant Air - Good Move?
Recently offered an F/O position with Allegiant Air and planning to be in their August 2nd class. I am a 41y/o High time (11k+) Twin Otter Grand Canyon Tour pilot with no jet time. Seems like a good company but would like to get some imput on the company either from those that know or work there. With only Otter and Caravan turbine time in my logs my choices are limited. Was offered Skywest too but turned them down for Allegiant Air. Thank you.

I'm also interested in what Allegiant is like... can anyone provide more info? I live 10 mins away from PIE, and I've heard their lines get you back home most nights so it sounds like a good deal so far!
Only bad I've heard is pay's not as great... but I'll sacrifice pay to be home! Thanks

Canyon , Sounds like a better job than your present gig, go for it! Just make sure your instrument scan is up to snuff for the sim...I think you will enjoy the change and you can allways go back tour type work.JW
