ha! too true! to be totally accurate the crosswind component was in the mid twenties.

Gee, at $4 a bag, they must be making good money. Flying Allegiant is an experience. $2 for a can of soda. $11 for an advance seat assignment. $4 to check a bag in advance, $8 if you check it day of flight. Guy in the row in front of me got a beer and a bag of peanuts - no change back from his $10. My favorite was the souvenir menu, which included a beach towel "that works great as a blanket on the plane, too" (only $15!)
Of course, I paid $66 total for a one way ticket to Orlando that would have cost 6-7 times that on the big guys.
