Yawn… my sources have been right each time. Go ahead and die on the zero unstack hill with AR. I haven’t heard a single line pilot ever talk about unstacking. We have the leverage to get an incredible contract, but wasting that leverage on something like zero unstack which nobody in the industry has is naive and my BS radar is still going off.
Also Delta has 30% unstack and they use Navblue so something is missing in AR’s explanation about Navblue pbs. Go ahead and sip the kool aid Margi.

Enjoying passing up on those nice pay raises for this mythical unstacking. Unnecessary NMB here we come.

Well unless my mother had another son I don’t know about, I’m almost certain my sisters aren’t in management. But if that’s the narrative you’re going to push, enjoy tarnishing another line pilot’s reputation.

Hey everyone who has never been through Section 6. Beware of management shills floating trial balloons and trying to lower expectations.
And who is this Greyhound guy that suddenly came out of the woodwork? Very suspicious. Management is getting desperate. Sounds like they are really worried about the unstacking issue not going their way...
That's about all I have to say about the above three posts.

I think the unstacking issue is a wholly created bargaining chip by Andrew to try and use as leverage to achieve something else. However it’s not great since the company sees that it’s a load of made up BS and won’t give him anything for it.

Nothing I’m doing is supposed to lower our expectations, I wholly expect us to be very well compensated with a good change in work rules. However, if we’re not a realistic pilot group, we’re going to be a poor pilot group for many years.

It’s very clear AR has little experience in section 6 negotiating and that should worry every due paying union member. Our pilot group has all of the leverage right now and if it’s not used correctly it’s as good as lost.

For example, 2118 very recently hired a consultant to research long term disability. (Seems like this is something that should have been done a year ago.) Do you think ALPA would need to do that? The work has already been done and the language is there, with plenty of union lawyers to help.

It’s not just AR. Teamsters is the airline equivalent of a high school student council. Maury and the management team loves that we basically need to reinvent every wheel.

MG and the c suite staff love that this is going to drag on strictly from a lack of understanding across the table. The sooner the rest of our pilot group realizes this, the better off we are. MG saves money every day we decide to reinvent the wheel.

Wait our culinary union attorney didn’t know that analyzing LTD was kind of a big deal to this pilot group so they started working on it over a year into negotiations?
Why are we supposed to trust AR so much? Why does he have dictator level control over our union? Since he took all over all I’ve seen are him tout the 5000+ grievances that we file. And then losing 6 straight arbitrations. Pretty sure the last win was in 2019 but don’t worry keep filing grievances guys…
Now the distraction is some bs unstacking stuff that makes no sense. Alaska just moved to navblue pbs and they didn’t get zero unstack or a staffing model. Pretty sure ALPA, you know the people that have done dozens of these contracts might know what they’re doing more than AR.
I’m smelling bs and nobody wants to actually answer the questions as to why we are dying on a zero percent unstack hill when no other airline has it and they don’t have staffing models either. But hey I’ll keep filing those grievances!
