I have friends at every major, and at my seniority level they tend to make about $20-50k more than I do. They also pickup green slips, work 4-5 day trips, frequent redeyes, etc. I worked 360 hours, had zero hotel nights, zero EDTC delays, zero deadheads, (training in base), eat my own food every days and sleep in the same time zone. Everyone can put a price and value on that, and for some people it’s worth it. Some people just want an easy part time job. If you want more money, then apply at Delta and you can hold LGA captain in 6 months. Enjoy that. Eventually we will get a new contract that will put the pay rates back to the market rate.

Biggest thing missing from our current contract is the retirement. it is absurd that direct contribution is not in there and at least 15%. I think the contract comparison made that crystal clear, whoever negotiated our last contract should be embarrassed as h#ll to have such a meager retirement.
contract comparison had some glaring shortcomings that need to get fixed. on a separate note, i was curious why Alaska wasn't included in it??

Another perfect example of why Allegiant pilots can't have nice things.
Management is listening.

Yeah, well, I wouldn’t make any career decisions predicated on a base located anywhere other than LAS/PHX & FL. After years of running this place like Great Lakes with jets, the chickens are coming home to roost.

It's all in the negotiating committee's hands. The pilots, senior/junior and content/not-content don't really have anything to do with what happens next. Whatever the committee presents to the pilot group will be ratified regardless of the number of pilots who claim they voted no lol. Pressure needs to be applied to the committee to ensure a sub standard TA is not presented. The committee is open to hearing from the pilot group.

You can talk about the positive aspects of a job without giving away bargaining leverage. I'm fully aware the work rules suck.

Basic summary, the allegiant contract sucks compared to every other major pilot group. It lags far behind in all respects. But everyone already knew that.
But the union "promises to bring you the best agreement that we believe is available to the pilot group in the current environment" so we have that going for us, which is nice.

Oh the reason I asked was because I never see Allegiant on any other company or union contract comparison. Pay rates are on airline pilot central but comparing the rest of the soft pay, work rules, and benefits is a little harder.

There's nothing out there because those things don't exist at this dumpster fire.
