And since when did the FAA change R-ATP mins to 750 hours? News to me.

The question is, if we get a new CBA by the end of the year t will you say "Wow, nice work, I was wrong."?

Allegiant pilots pay and their contract is so bad that allegiant is not included in snap up clauses, pay comparison’s, and narrow body average chart.

750 is goofy but 1000 is more realistic like the Lyft academy at republic, propel with delta, United Aviate academy, or any other flight school that give you college credit and let’s you get the reduced 1000 hours for ATP mins.

i reached out to some folks in management and they said MG is in AZ today (he was there yesterday as well). my one management source said they had no clue if union had passed compensation yet. they did say that MG was in AZ and that all the usual legal ppl's calendars were blocked this week.

This doesn't change my mind at all about how long this is gonna take. we are no where close to getting a deal done. i can't imagine us getting a deal without the NMB. too much anti pilot hate from management and too little experience from the union. management said yesterday that they are focusing on margins, they are not interested in the arms race like F9. they found this flight school to get them a real pilot pipeline, they'll probably skirt the contract and give the students seniority numbers or something ridiculous to keep the machine moving. management is betting on a recession and following their old playbook. they are gonna keep the flying low and maximize the margins while this contract gets stuck in the mud.
I was skeptical until reading your paragraph about reaching out to management and what management told you. Now I’m definitely calling BeeEss. Also, what Margarita said: you don’t start section 6 with pay rates. Especially if you have an entire contract to go.

So are you one of those suckers? Or is it just the rest of us that are all suckers

What?! The company and the union passed section 3? Who could have guessed that might happen this week. 😱

For someone on the outside looking in after reading around here for a while... how is Allegiant recruiting people into classes at $57 / hour? 1500 hr CFIs are getting paid $33+ more to go to a regional so honest question, other than the flight school deal how is it not an emergency to raise first year pay? (and the rest of the scale too)

Gotta wait to see if the rates are better then Alaska and have min days and all the other perks too capt was talking about too. I’m glad he was right. Let’s hope it’s industry standard/ leading instead of just “ comprehensive”.

They hire everybody who shows up for an interview (within reason) and then most of them leave as soon as another airline calls. It's a great way to grab a quick A320 type and bail.

Edit: I changed "great way" to "way"
