Why are you still at G4? Unless you are 60+ years old I still cant fathom why you havent jumped ship yet.
Sorry, Geir. Someone's got to counter the rainbows and unicorns you guys spread.

Anyone see the propaganda email from the company that proves they watch this message board? Showing how many involuntary vs voluntary TDY's happen each month this year (no discussion of last year - cover up).

The worst part of it is some worthless bean-counter in Vegas thinks they can justify up-routing someone from their home to cover the mistakes they made in crew planning.

How about they just learn to do their jobs.

I haven’t seen a single drop this year, not even on Tuesdays back in Jan and Feb.

They definitely watch this message board. They've even made a few concerted efforts to track down who we are here. The S-posting we do here is a major burr under their saddle. Which is why I do it.

Today, an apparent IT glitch occurred allowing all crew members access to company documents tracking the 15 pilots who call in fatigue the most, pilots who are on a “suspicious sick call list” and the associated algorithm for how they track it, pilots total planned and unplanned absences to include who is on FMLA, their personal phone numbers, the dates of all of their call outs, and more. People on this list were denied leaves to support sick family members and had no other choice but to call in sick. This is the environment that you will be coming into if you come here. Stay away.

As the union pointed out, they have the manpower to track legitimate sick calls and fatigue but not to work through the more than 5000 grievances currently recorded between the pilots and the company.

The FAA really should be getting involved in why the company is illegitimately tracking of the protected 117 fatigue program (not tracking what the route cause of the FAT calls is like they are supposed to), and while they are at it, ask why there is pressure for pilots and FA's to work when sick. Perhaps they should look in to the integrity of the appointed post holders in the organization and look at some of their correspondence with the pilot group, and how it can only be described as 'pilot pushing' due to inadequate staffing levels. This is an overall Just culture failure which the FAA has the power to address but elects not to at this time.

Totally agree. Tracking is one thing, but generating a list of the top 15 most Fatigued crew members isn’t tracking for operational improvement. It’s a target list.

It's a target list. This is the typical petty retaliation many G4 pilots know all about. This company has always been this way, especially before the union came on property. All long time G4ers know you need to keep your head down and keep the target off your back because once you get on "the list" they'll watch your every move and find a way to go after you until they have enough to fire you.

Now we know "the list" is real and not a paranoid delusion.

I hope those on it are lawyering up and take enough money out of this place to retire. Clear cut case of retaliation for following federal regs and a labor contract, violation of the FMLA law, and pilot pushing. Threats and intimidation. Not to mention releasing personal information as well. Most of these people have had lots of contact with Geir and now they know why.

Just another rookie move by the biggest amateur management in the industry. Apparently Geir thinks he's still the Supreme Commander and Kernel of World Airways. The minute that buffoon rose to power I just laughed and waited for the show to start. His reputation from those who worked there was horrible and he has lived up to it here. He sucked when he was a line captain here and he's been a disaster in management. Maybe he'll "decide" to retire go drive his RV around the country over this.

43% of the pilot group is on the list suspicious sick call list. Let that sink in to anyone coming here. Nearly HALF of the company.
