Contract negotiations

The TPNx one-on-one with a recruiter signup is pretty telling for Allegiant. The default number of spots for one-on-ones per 15 minute session is 4 pilots. Many of the slots are still at 3 to 4 openings on both days. The only other carrier that matches those vacancies is Spirt, but they seem to have a little bit more interest. I’d like to see G4 a place that can attract new talent, but the flat out difference in pay and options is enough to only apply to get the type then leave.
Never mind being bottom of the list in a rural, non-commutable base. My thoughts at least.

Hello aviators. Thanks for your help in advance.
I just completed 1 year at regionals. With 2200 TT, 600 Turbine 121. Last week I received a CJO with Allegiant. Unlike many, I am okay to be based in ABE. My end goal is definitely mainline. But to flow is 5 year minimum. What are your thoughts on me accepting the CJO instead of waiting long for the flow? With a new contract due and A320 time early in my career, is it a bad gig? Also can someone give an insight on a realistic FO salary. Cheers!

That certainly used to be true but there are a lot of FO's even at the regionals being hired at the legacies without TPIC. Having a type in something larger than an RJ will help just as much, or at least almost as much when it comes to moving onto a legacy or 2nd tier major like JB or SWA.

The biggest problem is the management team that puts spite and hatred of pilots above all else, even above making money. it's almost like they want to intentionally tank the Allegiant 2.0 they have built since 2014 and go back to subsistence flying from Florida and Vegas to one horse towns in square states and just need an excuse.

You got a CJO here because you are woefully under qualified to work anywhere else and the company knows they can trap you, if you come here you won’t fly much and mainline likely won’t touch you until you have a couple thousand more hours which would likely be 4-5 years at the pace we fly. Don’t come here unless you wanna stay here.
