it’s crazy to think this contract could very realistically be dragged out to 2026. The pilot group will go absolutely bananas and this place may burn to the ground lol. Kudos to the union for holding their ground, the company definitely wants them to cave so we can have a substandard deal for when this rapid growth happens in 2026. I’m not the biggest teamsters fan but holy **** anyone that blames the union for this, over managements decision making skills really needs a long hard look in the mirror.
If we are going to have 0 growth in 2025, then why would they want a contract? I think the only real threat they have is having the retention bonus over 250mil by that point and attrition ramped up. Very sad to see how poor our management has been the last few years. No growth since 2019, while everyone else blew up… all because of ****ty management decisions trying to undercut pilots. Now breeze and avelo have come into our markets and wouldn’t be surprised if they overtake our market share by then.

And retention bonus? That’s funny! That will be another sticking point to a new deal. Management won’t sign on the dotted line until that’s agreed to be given up. Hope you didn’t have plans for that Maury money!!

2026?? Heck, that’s awfully optimistic of you! There will be no contract unless we are allowed to be released to a cooling off period. Until that day happens, which it might never arrive, we will remain the lowest paid pilots in the country.

I don't question the company's intent to comply & pay it out.....but as this drags out by the middle of next year the rb balance will approach 20% of Allegiant's cash reserves. I question at what point it simply becomes unpayable.

Perhaps you didn’t read what I said. Of course they won’t just refuse to pay it out. They will simply “negotiate” it away. Did you not read the “Greg’s” emails? Gonna be a lot of angry folks around here when they realize that Monopoly money isn’t coming.
