As I predicted. 2 to 3 years until the next contract is a minimum time. I hope this doesn’t curtail management’s ability to attract lowest paid ultra low cost airline pilots. So, looks like a slow roll out of Plan B? Quite honestly, I’m glad to see the small mid-continent base strategy fall on its A$$. It was a stupid idea to begin with. And it will get worse for these little bases, expect closures since our union is going to hold the line; full package deal or shove it.

If anybody on here believes it’s gonna be 4-7 years then they’ll stop posting here, update their apps and start asking the legacy forums what to expect of the interview process. 7 years would be $300k in lost compensation for any CA here. It will never take 7 years.

If we don’t have a deal in 5 years then the entire EXCO will be voted out, the Airline Division will step in and take over bargaining. 6 years for Section 6 negotiations would be black eye for the IBT and they would takeover all negotiations. Even tho we have our own local, IBT still owns our bargaining rights…

It won’t be quick, but it won’t be 6 or 7 years. Nobody that stays here would give our EXCO that much leeway. No amount of excuses and blaming if management can justify $300k in lost comp.

This is far more likely, 3-4 years is what I would expect. Those saying 4-7 years are just fanning the flames. Nobody that actually believes it could reasonably take 7 years would stay here no matter how good they have it…

'We're just going to try to do an end run around the nasty union and negotiate directly with the pilots. Oh and don't be thinking you're Delta pilots either, you don't deserve that. We're Unique! Avelo. That's your peer. Happy Easter!"

I mean, seriously, they obviously knew this would be the reaction, right? Did they think this was going to be well received? At least now there is no question about what management thinks we’re worth, AND we know exactly who is at the table for them. Exciting.

Pay rates are identical to Sun Country with slight variations. Retirement is 11% with a slow escalation to max of 15 after a few years. No work rule fixes and in some cases relaxing of a few of the rules we have now. Basically, the top 300 in the company can benefit because most of the contract doesn't affect them. The bottom 100 plus people who haven't even been hired yet (those who don't know pain yet) will only see the pay scales to be happy.

You aren’t breaking anything to anyone. Everyone knows that this is the target of the company, and they’ve even been transparent about that. What I’m saying is that it won’t be enough. Anyone that votes yes on it is a full

Not worry there will not be anything to vote on. The union will not submit a pay scale only TA, much to the dismay of management. Hence, they are end running our negotiating committee, violating the NDA protocol and bargaining directly with the pilot group. Desperate. Imo.

Our new hire FOs will be for a very longtime; Ultra Lowest Paid, ultra low cost pilots. In Flint?

My guess is, we'll see a G4 merger of some sort before a new contract is hammered out. A lot of MGMT shuffling, reduced flying, etc. etc.

The TPNx one-on-one with a recruiter signup is pretty telling for Allegiant. The default number of spots for one-on-ones per 15 minute session is 4 pilots. Many of the slots are still at 3 to 4 openings on both days. The only other carrier that matches those vacancies is Spirt, but they seem to have a little bit more interest. I’d like to see G4 a place that can attract new talent, but the flat out difference in pay and options is enough to only apply to get the type then leave.

Never mind being bottom of the list in a rural, non-commutable base. My thoughts at least.
