I asked Nate who told him that and he ignored me. Normal BS. Make statements that "someone said" and then not back it up. If it's true say who it was so that person can come on here and confirm or deny. I went to a base visit and talked to a couple of members of the NC and none of them said that actual Alaska rates weren't good enough.

Of course they do. You are just now figuring this out? If we didn't value day trips above all else why else would we be here? There is not a single reason to be here otherwise. Glad you tracked down all the clues sherlock and figured out the mystery of the industry.
I have only ever heard three reasons from pilots for why they are at allegiant: 1. day trips 2. type rating 3. couldn't get hired anywhere else (okay they don't actually tell me that but sometimes its obvious - tho that is the vast minority of our pilots).

JK told me earlier this year Alaska rates wouldn’t get it done. We were talking about Alaska’s rates at the time. Maybe he feels differently now with what’s going on the industry.
Still such a weird thing to make up Sally, why lie about something so stupid? If you’d have messaged me I would have told you. Whatever.

Its tragic to think that you guys holding out for a legacy contract dont understand how you are helping Maury. Every day you stay in negotiations, you are costing the company 2015 pay plus 35%. You won't get back pay at your new rates, what ever they may be, so the longer you hold out the longer you leave money behind which will never be recovered.
For comparison, I looked at 10 yr CA and 4 Year FO for G4+35%/B6/AA.
Seat G4/ B6/ AA
CA $296/$354/$358 ($58-$62/hr cheaper labor)
FO $156/$198/$240 ($42-$84/hr cheaper labor)
And your 401 is 7% lower.
The longer you hold out the better it is for Maury.
Your new EXCO dont want you to get a contract any time soon. They are punishing you for breaking off from 1224. And MG doesnt want you to get a contract any time soon. You're just too cheap to pass up!
So good luck to the 98% of really good guys and girls at Allegiant. It is such a pity that the 2% of the coolaid drinkers hanging on to the words of those who happen to currently have some power, or have previously held power, and are so intent on delaying your earning potential.

this guy gets it. Asking for legacy pay when our fellow ULCC is filling for BK and the other is on life support is crazy.
“Hey NMB will you release us? We are done negotiating because management won’t give us legacy pay, they are treating like us ULCC pilots.”
NMB: you are a ULCC
IBT: we are narrow body pilots all narrow pilots get paid legacy rates.
NMB: no they don’t.
IBT: yes they do its the cost of doing business. Just ignore that other ULCCs are failing and going out of business. Management is bargaining in bad faith by not paying us legacy rates.
NMB: hmmmm makes sense.
We got screwed by ibt and AR. Missed our window. Hiring environment has completely shifted. We need to lock in a deal even if it’s below legacy market rates. The rates and retirement that were passed two months, lock those in for two years instead of hoping the market makes another crazy turn and ULCCs start becoming crazy profitable again (very unlikely).
it sucks. But this is IBT’s fault. The buck stops with them and they let AR run wild and screw with our careers. It’s also our fault for “trusting” AR and “giving him the benefit of the doubt.” Im tired of giving IBT the benefit of the doubt when all we get are smoke screens like the latest trustee meeting. Not again. If it doesn’t make sense then I don’t believe a word they said. We are not atlas or NetJets.
IBT is playing right into management’s hands. They’ve got F&H attorneys running circles around our NC. The last thing management wants is a deal now and the IBT is going along with it and we are the losers once again.
But hey I’m glad the NC worked 10 hours the other day to try and get us a contract. I’m sure Jay and JR are exhausted after such a long day. Surprised the NC didn’t call out fatigue after all those negotiations.

Which member of the NC told you that? I have been to a base visit and talked to a couple of them on the phone and none of them have told me that. They said JetBlue and SWA are the highest paid (not Delta/United/AA), but never said that Alaska rates (or any rate for that matter) "won't get it done." In fact, they told me the rates aren't most important part, it's the other stuff. I was told that the rates will be part of an overall package. I'm throwing the BS flag here.

No one in the NC has told him jack**********t. He's absolutely full of *********t when it comes to him talking to the NC or That GU has been going around saying so and so. He throws the "kool aid" card bc its like throwing the racist, phobe or whatever card. It "shuts down the conversation". My feeling is that this homie is either really senior, or he's in the training department. So his biggest priority is MONEY MONEY MONEY. *********K the work rules, much less reserve rules. Bc they don't affect him! They haven't affected him in a long long time.
well, I was right then and I’m right now. Member of the NC told me stuff and I put it on here. I was called a liar and then I told yall who told me and what happened?
You said “yea you’re JK does run his mouth too much but you still don’t know what you’re talking about…”
CaptainFboy, you look ridiculous, like a little kid still drinking that union kool aid. You and I both know now is the time to make the Alpa move but you’d rather open your mouth and swallow whatever GU and the union feed you.
again, all you did was admit that I was right again. All I’m doing is repeating what I’m being told by the people in the know. You guys who think union reps aren’t the biggest gossipers are hilarious. They chatter and gossip more than management. A guy gets a little bit of power and they start thinking they’re freaking napoleon. Happens all the time. Can’t beat human nature I guess.

Well with all those WFT and TF, you sure put me in my place for possibly getting the official terminology incorrect! I feel suitable chastized by the meme king with his bunch of dumb cronies. Ive seen the FB page and boy, you are a bully on that. With your nose firmly planted in the new leaders butt you'll surely come out on top. Or is it underneath? But you keep loling
